PEER REVIEW POLICIY

A mere submission of article to the journal or consideration of the article for review process by the Editorial Board doesn't mean that the article is possible for acceptance of publication. The decision of the reviewers is the sole criteria for acceptance/ revision/ resubmission/ rejection.

Double-blind peer review process is followed for every article before a decision is taken. Both the reviewer and author are unknown throughout the process.

Editorial decision for consideration of article for double-blind peer review process will be intimated within 3 days.

Plagiarism is strictly considered as an act of fraud and hence articles with plagiarism are not consdiered for publication in this journal. The journal use TURNITIN software to check the plagiarism of submitted articles.

GUIDELINES TO SUBMIT

INSTRUCTIONS TO AUTHORS (or) Guidelines to prepare and submit manuscript
The IJAPB publishes the research and review articles in different areas of pharmacy and biosciences. Papers written in English will only be considered. The manuscripts submitted should be typewritten in MS Word format with 1.5 spacing in A4 sheet. The articles prepared shall be in Times New Roman using 12 font size and title shall be in 14 font size, bold capitals. All section titles in the manuscript shall be in font size 12, bold capitals and subtitles in each section shall be in font size 12, bold lower case. Illustrations (Figures & Tables) must be inserted at appropriate place in the article. The pages shall be numbered consequently. The manuscript shall be started with the title page and the text should be arranged in the following order:

Title Page

Abstract

Keywords

Introduction

Materials and Methods

Results and Discussion

Conclusion

Acknowledgements

References

Title Page
The title should be at first page of 14 font size, bold capitals, followed by the author and co- author(s) name(s) and the institution name and address by indicating suitable superscripts of 10 font size. An asterisk (*) must be placed after the corresponding author name as superscript whose email id, fax, telephone number can be given at the bottom left corner of the title.

Abstract
This should start at next page and should not be more than 150-200 words. The Abstract should briefly explain about the topic, state the scope of the experiments, indicate significant data, and point out major findings and conclusions.

Keywords
Provide three to six appropriate keywords related to the work at the bottom of abstract.

Introduction
The Manuscript should provide a brief introduction of the study which clearly states the hypothesis or purpose statement, how and why the purpose or hypothesis was developed and why the author deems it important.

Materials and Methods
This section contains the materials and instrument(s) used for the experiments and the brief discussion of experimental procedure(s) should be provided.

Results
Results of the experimental data should be clearly presented and tables, figures should be illustrated wherever necessary.

Discussion
This section deals with the interpretation of results, which clearly discuss a critical review of the results in the light of relevant literature. Results and Discussion may be combined.

Conclusion
This section summarizes the main conclusions of the research and a clear explanation of their importance and relevance.

Acknowledgement
Acknowledgement should be brief like giving reference to source of financial support etc.

References
The authors are responsible for the accuracy of the bibliographic information. It must be numbered consecutively in the order that they are cited in the text and designated by superscript with square brackets after the punctuation marks. E.g., [X]
A list should be included on separate 1.5 spaced pages at the end of the text. For the proper abbreviations of the journal titles, refer to "Chemical Abstracts". The style and punctuation of the references should confirm to the following examples:

Journal references

Tables
Tables should be numbered with numerals in the order which they are cited in the text. E.g., Table-1, Table-2. Title should be placed at the top of the table with center alignment in lower case bold letters. Footnotes can be included below the table. Table caption should be 12 point italic.

Illustrations and Figures
Figures must be numbered independently of tables, and cited as the relevant point in the manuscript text, e.g. "Fig. 1", "Fig. 2", etc. All figures including photographs should be numbered consecutively in numerals in the order of their appearance in the text and bear a brief title in lower case bold letters below the figure.

REVIEW ARTICLES
Review articles should not be more than 25 pages and contain comprehensive coverage of relevant literature. All format requirements are similar to those applicable to Research papers. Review articles need not to be divided into sections such as Materials and methods; Results and discussion, but should definitely have an abstract, introduction and references.

Copyright
Submission is a representation that the manuscript has not been published previously and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Authors would be required to sign a form (to be supplied by the Editor) transferring copyright before the manuscript can be published.

Ethical matter
Authors publishing results from in vivo experiments involving animals or humans should state whether due permission for conduction of these experiments was obtained, from the relevant ethics committees, in the Materials and Methods section. In addition, authors wishing to publish research work involving human studies should also send a notary verified letter of approval from the Ethics Committee or the Institutional Review Board.
